The move follows the company's recent directive to introduce key solutions designed to further enhance Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and comfort levels.

The new air purifier, MC55 series with Daikin’s Unique Patented Streamer Technology, comes in a new and stylish compact design, offering key features such as powerful suction, low noise, and is equipped with a high performance Electrostatic HEPA filter to catch fine dust particles, which can be replaced after 10 years. Pure air is guaranteed, thanks to the active plasma ion discharge and the flash streamer technology, which was proven to inactivate virus after 3 hours. The Daikin patented Streamer Technology, which was developed by Daikin in 2004, performs an oxidative decomposition of harmful substances. The streamer discharges a type of plasma featuring an innovative air purification technology that generates high speed electrons. This results in an oxidative plasma discharge capability that is higher than the conventional plasma discharge (glow discharge).
 
The second launched series is the in-room compact Air Filtration Unit, DAFU series, manufactured in our UAE factory at Jebel Ali, and is equipped with a 3-stage filtration including 99.99% efficient HEPA filter. The air filtration unit is designed to serve small to medium-sized facilities like health care facilities, to quickly and inexpensively convert standard patient rooms to negative pressure isolation rooms. It also helps any conditioned space as a recirculating device that provides equivalent outdoor air changes to eliminate air borne infections and incorporates a high efficiency EC fan to keep the power consumption lower.
