LG “LIFE’S GOOD RESTAURANT” OPENS TO CAIRO RESIDENTS
Across Egypt, food enthusiasts enjoy visiting and ordering from street food vendors, family-owned eateries and fine dining establishments. At home too, an increasing number of people are seeking to prepare classic dishes and re-create restaurant-quality meals which bring back the fondest of memories.
As part of its mission to make cooking and getting creative in the kitchen more enjoyable, LG Electronics (LG) today launches a new competition across the Middle East and Africa p[JSCMT1] artnering with local chefs across the UAE, KSA, Iraq, Kenya[THA2] , Egypt and Turkey. In Egypt, LG has joined with celebrity chef, Mohamed Hazem to offer an opportunity exclusive to residents in the country. LG and Chef Mohamed Hazem are inviting food enthusiasts to visit “The Spot of Delicious” at LG’s “Life’s Good Restaurant” – a dedicated online portal where people can share their favorite dishes, images and the stories behind them. Whether baking banana bread during quarantine, making baked feta pasta with friends, or grilling food under the stars with family, participants can detail what makes the dish special to them and who it most reminds them of.
Dishes will be uploaded to a digital feed showcasing all entries submitted. Chef Mohamed Hazem will then carefully select the three best dishes…
The first winner will win LG’s Instaview refrigerator, the second winner will win LG’s Vivace Washing Machine, and the third winner will win LG’s NeoChef Microwave Oven.
The competition forms a part of the company’s wider “LG’s the Spot” campaign, an initiative designed to show how life can be enhanced through the power of technology and social interaction. Throughout the course of the year, LG will be introducing additional competitions and giveaways, covering fields such as dance and gaming.
