‏Aiming at enhancing the good political and economical relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Belarus, Raya Holding for Financial Investments has announced signing a strategic partnership with BELAZ Holding, which is specialized in manufacturing mining trucks, roads and construction equipment. The announcement came during holding the Egyptian- Belarusian business council, attended by the Major General Muhammad Saeed Al-Asar, Minister of State for Military Production, Dr. Nevin Jama, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Vladimir Klotovich, Belarusian Minister of Trade and Antitrust.
‏The partnerships contract was signed by engineer Tamer Abd El-Aziz Heida, the CEO of business development at Raya Holding Company, from the Egyptian side - and from the Belarusian side, Piotr Parkhomchik, General Director of BELAZ Holding Company.
‏Medhat Khalil, Chairman and Managing Director of Raya Holding Company, has expressed his pride at the corporation with the Belarusian Company BELAZ. He asserted that Raya is working according to Egypt’s vision to enhance the mutual relations of the two countries in order to achieve both countries’ interests. This partnership will contribute at moving forward the industrial, trade, and investment mutual relations, and will speed up the implementation of the road map signed between the two countries to promote the economical mutual corporation.
‏On the side of Tamer Abd El-Aziz, he explained: “This Corporation happened as a result of the trust the Belarusian Company’s BELAZ has placed in Raya Company’s name, history, and the volume of its diverse business portfolio, which includes 12 different business fields. He also added that the strategic partnership between the two companies will include providing operation and supply services as well as maintenance and technical support services.
‏In addition, he pointed out that the Egyptian market is a promising market for the international and mega companies, especially that Raya supports Egypt’s vision to enhance the economical-trade mutual cooperation and takes this vision into action through constructing touchable investment projects which will benefit both the Egyptian and Belarusian economy equally. 
‏It is worth mentioning that BELAZ is one of the biggest international companies that manufacture mine and unloading mines trucks with tonnages between 35 and 450 tons, as well as road and construction equipment. The company’s headquarter is located at Zhodzina city in Belarus, where the company produces more than 30% of the trucks in 80 different countries around the world. In addition to that, the company currently designs and manufactures new generation of dumper trucks equipped with a comprehensive program to monitor the technical condition of mining electric powered equipment in addition to gas engines, not to mention its distinguished external design.
‏It is noted that the Belarusian president, Alexander Lukashenko has visited Egypt this February and met president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi who visited Belarus on the 17th of last June; they both held conversation on a high level, and signed a road map to foster the cooperation between the two countries in 2019-2020. 12 agreements and memorandums of understanding between Egypt and Belarus were signed to promote the cooperation between the two countries in a number of areas of mutual interest.
