Obourland Invests 600 million EGP in the Egyptian market over the past 4 years
Obourland the leading white cheese manufacturer in Egypt, and Tetra Pak, the world’s leading food manufacturing and packaging company, celebrated 12 years of partnership. The press event was attended by Eng. Mohamed Hamed Sherif Obourland Executive Chairman, Mr. Ashraf Mohamed Hamed, Obourland Vice Chairman and CEO, Mr. Ayman Hamed el Sherif, Mr. Mohamed Yahia, Obourland Board members, and Konstantin Kolesnik, Managing Director of Tetra Pak Egypt Area. In addition to, many figures from the Egyptian media.
During which Obourland announced the launch of two new cheese packages to the Egyptian market. These are Tetra Brik® Aseptic 125ml Slim Leaf on the Tetra Pak® A3 speed line and Tetra Brik® Aseptic 250 Base Leaf, with three production lines Tetra Pak® A3 speed. These packages would be produced through four production lines; Tetra Pak® A3 speed. Both packages have a unique design that make them appealing to consumers as well as easy to store, carry and pour from.
Konstantin Kolesnik, Managing Director of Tetra Pak Egypt, welcomed the attendees and noted, “we are pleased to be celebrating 12 years of partnership with ObourLand, a leading corporation that is always keen to provide products with the best quality. ObourLand has always strived to introduce the latest technologies, products, sizes and flavors to the Egyptian market.
Konstantin Kolesnik added that, “Obourland has great potential. This new investment, through the new production lines and the launch of two new packages in the Egyptian market, shows trust in the Egyptian economy”.
From his side, Eng. Mohamed Hamed, “the partnership between Tetra Pak and Obourland has witnessed lots of successes over the past 12 years. We look forward, during the coming period to continue our successes together through the provision of products that fit the Egyptian consumers and fulfill all their needs,”
Eng. Mohamed Hamed added that, “Obourland market share reached 42% market share, a total of 103 million kilos sold during 2018”.
Eng. Mohamed Hamed referred to the quality concept of Obourland when he said, “since our establishment in 1997, Obourland has always offered the highest quality of products presented to the Egyptian consumers. We invested around 600 million EGP in the Egyptian market in the past 4 years.”
From his side, Ashraf Mohamed Hamed, said, “ObourLand is always keen to cater for the growing needs of the Egyptian consumers by launching high quality and affordable products. We will continue to launch new products and packages to the Egyptian market”
Hamed added, “with the launch of the two new packages and the four production lines are important steps in our plans to increase market share in Egypt.
Eng. Mohamed Hamed concluded, “our objective in the coming period is to continue empowering our stature in the Egyptian market. This objective supports our partnership with Tetra Pak and our plans to inject more than 200 million EGP in the period 2019/2020 to develop our factories.”
At the end of the day, Konstantin Kolesnik, Tetra Pak Egypt’s Managing Director handed Eng. Ashraf Hamed a trophy for being “Partners in Success for 12 years
