Climate Neutrality Dialogue expands to Schools across Egypt
A selected group of great young minds from the Kipling School participated in an invigorating discussion with the Chief Executive Officer of Global Trade Matters, Ashraf Naguib as they prepare for their very much anticipated presentation which they will share with the distinguished line up of speakers and delegates at the “Global Trade Matters International Dialogue on Climate Neutrality – Vision 2050” to be held in Cairo on the 25th of November 2019.
The group of future leaders has been engaged in a project to better understand their school’s carbon footprint and come up with innovative ways of becoming a carbon neutral school. The project is coordinated with the faculty of the Kipling School whom have provided the students with their full support and time in enhancing their awareness regarding the impacts of climate change what role they could play in making difference for their future.
“I was overwhelmed by the way these young students are thinking about the future and the wealth of knowledge they have regarding climate change and the future of the planet. They are the true stakeholders of Vision 2050 and are the real leaders of the global movement towards climate neutrality” said Ashraf Naguib
The project is overseen by Ms. Nada Sherdy from Global Trade Matters working closely with both students and faculty to maximize their understanding of the importance of climate neutrality.
“Their (students) positive energy is contagious and their team work on preparing their presentation and organizing their thoughts is exemplary. Their presence and participation at the Climate Neutrality Dialogue tomorrow will be a great eye opener for our attending delegates and their opinions, thoughts and solutions will certainly be the building blocks of a brighter future for the planet” said Ms. Nada Sherdy
