The two Rotarys of Alexandria: Marine and Pharaohs, host prominent media expert and journalist, Mohamed Moustafa Sherdy, in a panel discussion titled “Media of Tomorrow”, on Thursday at the Syrian Club. The event welcomes a number of public figures, journalists and media representatives in addition to the board members of Rotary.
Sherdy will showcase his vision and insights on the recent changes and updates happening in the media scene in Egypt and the whole MENA region. He is also to tackle the mechanism by which the Egyptian media regains its leadership position in light of the latest challenges on the regional level.
Moreover, the panel includes review of many topics related but not limited to the impact of the technological revolution and the prevalence of digitalization on the public opinion strategically and economically versus the print industry.
Sherdy discusses how crucial the content presented to the reader is and how readers behaviors should be studied especially among the great access they have to news worldwide at a speed that goes beyond the abilities of local media outlets.
